TELEREHAB
How we help
Telerehab allows clients to have a one-to-one virtual physiotherapy appointment with a physiotherapist via a secure videoconference platform. Sessions may include the assessment of your condition or injury, education, treatment options, and exercise prescription from the comfort of your home.
Referrals
As Telerehab is a form of physiotherapy, no referral is required. However, you do need to be located in Ontario, Canada in order for us to provide this service.
Fees and Payments
Telerehab follows our regular physiotherapy fee schedule. An assessment is $100 and follow-up appointments are $60. Most insurance providers cover Telerehab. It is recommended that you contact your insurance provider to see if your specific policy covers Telehealth Rehab.
Indications
Telerehab can be helpful for a wide range of clients when an in-person appointment cannot occur.

Benefits
Stay healthy at home
Telerehab allows a client to maintain their health and well being in the comfort and safety of their own home.
What to expect
One step at a time
If you are a new client, the first session will be an assessment. The physiotherapist will take a medical history and ask questions about your injury/condition. The physiotherapist may then have you do some movements to assess your mobility, or other tests specific to your condition. You may also be asked to demonstrate tasks that you are having trouble with. Following the assessment, the physiotherapist will give their opinion on your condition and provide education, including pain management strategies and recommendations for activities of daily living. They may also provide you with stretching and/or strengthening exercises to help.
Clients who have had an assessment will have follow-up sessions where the physiotherapist and client will review their concerns and discuss progress. The physiotherapist will provide continued education and progressions of exercises.
