
Subsequent to completing undergraduate and Masters degrees in Kinesiology, Shane complete the Sports Injury Management program at Sheridan College and became a Certified Athletic Therapist. With that, Shane went on to gain considerable experience as an Athletic Therapist, working in various elite level hockey teams including the Montreal Canadiens’ AHL affiliate in Fredericton, NB, the University of Toronto Men’s Varsity Hockey Club, various Team Ontario hockey programs and multiple Ontario Ontario Hockey League events. Shane was also the Head Athletic Therapist for the OHL’s Guelph Storm for twenty seasons.
Throughout his career, Shane has also worked in a variety of private orthopaedic physiotherapy clinics providing athletic therapy services and custom brace fitting and management. His extensive background with professional athletes combined with his experience in private physiotherapy clinics have provided him with the skills to service a wide variety of client bracing and product needs at the clinic. Shane is one of the founding members of Wellington Ortho & Rehab when it was established in 2009.
