Covid Procedures

COVID Safety Measures

Across Canada we have taken extraordinary measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. For our clinic, that meant closing our general “in person” physio and massage and offering Telerehab for physiotherapy during closure and as we move forward.

Most of our physician tenants closed their offices to all but Telemedicine.

Safety Guidelines

Reduce the risk

The COVID-19 battle has not ended even though businesses are re-opening their doors. We ask you to please read through the safety guidelines we ask of you as patients of the clinic (or of the physician offices within) to reduce the risk of COVID transmission.

Washroom use

Public washrooms will not be open for public use at this time.  Please use your washroom prior to arriving at the clinic.

Wearing a mask

All visitors to the clinic will be required to wear a mask.

Masks will be available for those who do not have a mask.

Masks will prevent potential infectious droplets of the wearer. Staff will be wearing masks and/or face shields depending on their roles within the clinic.

Only a patient may attend the clinic

Only the person who has an appointment will be accepted into the clinic, with the exception young children or those who require support. Please advise your practitioner if you require an additional person present.

Other family members or supports can communicate via phone if necessary.

Adhere to social distancing guidelines

Maintain a six foot/2metres of physical distances within the clinic where possible.

Follow directional arrows on the floor for traffic flow.

Wait on noted social distance circles if speaking with reception staff.

Follow protocols for waiting in your vehicle or spacing seating as advised by your clinician office.

Do not congregate at the front door, reception area or other locations within the clinic.

Keep your hands clean

Hands should be washed with soap and water before arriving at the clinic. No individual with visibly soiled hands will be accepted into the clinic.

All guests at the clinic will be directed to use hand sanitizer in the clinic upon arrival.

Only touch necessary surfaces

Frequently touched surfaces (doorknobs, counters) will be cleaned a minimum of 2x per day or when visibly dirty.

Examining beds and/or chairs will be cleaned after each patient.

Clean your hands with sanitizer or soap and water after leaving the clinic.

Debit or credit purchases will be preferred using card touch only.

For larger purchases we will ask you phone in your credit card number to avoid touching pin pad surfaces.
