Covid Procedures

COVID Safety Measures

Across Canada we have taken extraordinary measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. For Wellington Ortho & Rehab, that meant closing our general “in person” physio and massage for a period of time,  offering Telerehab for physiotherapy and establishing safety protocols in accordance with public health guidelines upon re-opening.

Safety Guidelines

Reduce the risk

The COVID-19 battle has not ended even though many health & workplace safety issues are being lifted.

While many are prepared for next steps, many are not.  Please continue to treat others with empathy and kindness as we move forward to living with COVID-19.

We ask you to please read through the safety guidelines we ask of you as patients of the clinic (or of the physician offices within) to reduce the risk of COVID transmission.

Wearing a mask

All visitors to the clinic will be required to wear a mask until further notice.

Masking will provide better protection for those attending the clinic who may have underlying health conditions as well as staff who work in close proximity to our patients.

Masks will be available for those who do not have a mask.

Individuals attending the clinic

Where possible, please have the patient only attend the clinic to reduce the risk of COVID-19 exposure and transmission.

Adhere to social distancing guidelines

Maintain a six foot/2metres of physical distances within the clinic where possible.

Follow directional arrows on the floor for traffic flow.

Wait on noted social distance circles if speaking with reception staff.

Follow protocols for waiting in your vehicle or spacing seating as advised by your clinician office.

Do not congregate at the front door, reception area or other locations within the clinic.

Keep your hands clean

Hands should be washed with soap and water before arriving at the clinic.

All guests at the clinic will be directed to use hand sanitizer in the clinic upon arrival.

Only touch necessary surfaces

Examining beds and/or chairs will be cleaned after each patient.

Clean your hands with sanitizer or soap and water after leaving the clinic.
